Tirzah
(pronounced Tir-zah),
her name is Hebrew for delightful and she is also
affectionately known as "T"
or Nanna.
Unfortunately she wasn’t very
interested in the show scene so only went to a few dog shows. However, she
did manage first in the Minor Bitch Class at the Brisbane Royal in
2003. At the 2004 Specialty Show she won Best Opposite Australian Bred in
Show and on another occasion; she won Best Australian Bred in Group at the
Ipswich Kennel Club Open Show.
Tirzah and her new found mate
Baron (Blakrouge Red Baron) had TiaraRebel’s first litter and her one and
only litter born on 5th February 2005. She naturally whelped 2 brindle girls
(who we kept), 1 fawn girl who lives in Sweden, 1 red boy in Tasmania & 1
red boy in Victoria. Tirzah was an excellent mother and has passed on her
qualities and fabulous temperament to her children and grandchildren.
Her
favourite pastimes are doing self appointed guard duties at our front fence
line, welcoming committee to any visitors, going out in the car, playing
with Fred - our Jersey Steer and sleeping on the leather lounge or on our
bed!
Often she
can be found grabbing a stuffed toy or a nylabone from the toy box and
running through the house with it; hoping someone will chase her! She will
be forever a youngster at heart and a great playmate to the pups!
In November
2010, Tirzah had a party celebrating her EIGHTH birthday - its
certainly a milestone to honour!
! She had a lovely
birthday at home with family and friends.
Not long after her birthday, she
went off her food and became very ill. Sadly we laid her to rest two days
before Christmas 2010. She was our first brindle Bullmastiff, our foundation
bitch and will always be a huge part of our dynasty!
Rest in Peace
- Our Delightful Playtime Princess
